The joys of vacationing

So, we are on vacation.

During our vacation, I decided I would make a goal of having my blog up and running. Goal met. However, now finding time to keep it up is the challenge. I'm still trying to find time to learn about what to do and how to do things associated with having a blog. Maybe we need to take another vacation so I can find time to learn more about blogging :)

Once we are back in our home surroundings, I'm hoping to put up some pictures of the beautiful sites we've seen. There is inspiration everywhere! So, although the main focus of this blog is my sewing items, it'll be great to share some others pics that have inspired me. COLOUR is a huge inspiration in my work; lots of vibrant hues and shades are in abundance here ... especially GREEN! The plants, trees, and grasses are everywhere here ... so why not take a LOT of pictures of them for inspiration, right?

ahhh... alas

.... the new blog. A work in progress. Lots of researching, many hours reading about Html, RSS, Feedburner ... ugh, a lot for an artist's mind to compute, understand, and put to use.

I'm hoping to really connect with other creative peeps ... and not so creative peeps (they make us feel so good when they say how creative we are). I know, I know ... but sometimes, anything for an ego boost goes a long way.

My biggest struggle in putting together a blog has been the researching and wanting to know everything right from the start ... just not gonna happen.

So, with big girl panties on, I've surged ahead and present to you ... taradara made it
